The fun part of summer has come and gone, and now comes the craziness and stress of preparing for college. I'll be attending a university in England (far from London though) so i have it a bit more stressful than most... well, not really.

So yeah, I haven't been drawing much at all this summer, so sorry for the lack of non-photography deviations. What I have been working on (after swim team and being a typical teenage girl, of course... that's what was keeping me busy) is a new series of photography and photomanipulation called my 2009 Burlesque/Pinup collection. They're of myself, my good friend Sachi, and even a bit of my sister. Everything is relatively tame. There is no indecent exposure or indecent behavior, but I still consider it a very bold move on my part. I have done swimsuit photography, but it doesn't hold a candle to my current project.

I've just been very lazy with my art. I also haven't been writing much, which is apparent from my lack of new youtube videos. I just haven't been in a very productive mood lately. Oh well. College will change all of that. I don't know if I'll have any time to work on art during college, but I'll see what I can do.

I'm currently recovering from a nosedive I took this summer. I was looking forward to this summer being the greatest ever, and so I jumped right in without any caution as to the consequences of my "enjoyment without limits"... to the point where I just wasn't acting myself. No, seriously, it was like I was a different person. Which would explain the lack of enthusiasm for art. But I'm slowly but surely making my way back to "normalcy" as would put it, and I hope that I'll be my old self again by September.
